progress. kind of.

look what arrived yesterday!

LOVE IT. i've sampled 3 of the flavors already this morning and i'm happy to report:
  • they're all very tasty
  • i feel like a meth addict i'm buzzing around the house. slight. caffeine. overdose.

home sweet home.

this is what our house looked like 2 weeks ago. i'm happy to say the boxes have cleared {somewhat}. but our 2nd shipment arrives Monday and i'm afraid its going to right back to this. it gives me anxiety just thinking about it. d gets back at the end of the month and i really want the house to be finished and feel like a home for him- cross your fingers that i can accomplish that in 4 days.

for those of you that asked/emailed me about katie's famous goat cheese bruschetta:
  1. slice french bread into 1 1/2 inch slices, coat with a thin layer of olive oil & broil.
  2. mix 3 tomatoes and 1 1/2 onion finely chopped with 1 1/2 teaspoon of basil in mixing bowl
  3. fill bowl to top of mixture with balsamic vinaigrette
  4. spread layer of goat cheese on toasted bread & add spoonful of mix on top
voila!

SO GOOD & SO EASY!
