Cell Phone Advice!

Question for you ladies!

Since moving to Hawaii (which is beautiful I might add) Dan and I have decided we need new phones. Rather- Dan has decided he must have an iPhone :)

Do any of you ladies have iPhones and a family plan? What is the best deal? The website is a little confusing & I know if we go to the store they're going to way overcharge us. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

In other news- I arrived to Hawaii on Monday and have fallen in love :) We've been looking for houses but haven't found one yet. I'm really hoping that we will walk into one and it will just 'feel right.' Send good vibes our way!

little bit of an update...

we've finally arrived in Indianapolis for our close friends wedding :)

the rehearsal dinner tonight was at buca di beppo and was AMAZING. after tonight I highly recommend that restaurant for a large group size dinner. the food was amazing and the staff was awesome. I'm STILL stuffed (and ladies and gents...that is RARE!). all the boys are going golfing tomorrow and I'm hoping to get a mani/pedi before the big ceremony/reception take place. if anyone lives in Indianapolis and knows of a great salon your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

in other news I'm seriously peeved because my pictures won't upload from my camera. yes, the new camera I JUST purchased for an arm and a leg. kodak better get its stuff together before I have a freak out.

in other less high blood pressure inducing news...we travel back home to dallas on saturday and we get to babysit our beautiful baby niece sunday :) happy weekend everyone!

off to Chi City

Dan and I are off to Chicago this evening to see his best friend and then make our way to a wedding in Indianapolis. I've never been to Chicago but have heard only wonderful things so I'm excited to see what this city is all about!

Side note: all of this traveling is doing a number on my weight :/ drinking a bottle of wine a night & treating myself with amazing meals is leaving me with quite the belly pooch! once we're all moved and settled in Hawaii I'm going to have to re-vamp my diet BIG TIME.

the culprit: dan loves breweries and craft beers. and I obviously have to be a good new wife and sample all of the beers with him...

the proof: half of those samplers are for me!

however. for now I'll spoil myself with as much wine/beer and calories as I can :)

Baby Linnea

We were blessed on June 9, 2010 at 10:10am with a beautiful baby niece! Baby Linnea (a Swedish family name isn't it cute?) weighed 7 pounds 13 ounces and was 21 inches long. Mama and baby are both healthy and happy and for that we couldn't be more thankful.

Dan and I are now in Cheyenne, Wyoming for a wedding this evening. We went to their rehearsal dinner last night and just had a blast (I swear my steak was 4 inches thick...they know their steaks up here!). Everybody in this town is so kind and welcoming I know we will be back. Tomorrow night we're staying down in Denver, and then off to Chicago on Sunday!

wedding sneak peak!

I am officially a married woman!

The wedding was BEAUTIFUL. Everything I had imagined and so much more. I have the best memories from that day and feel so blessed looking back on what a wonderful day it was.

The wine, food, sunlight, ceremony, decorations, everything was PERFECT.

The only small incident I remember from the night was that my dress bustle broke :( Luckily my mothers best friend had given me a 'bridal emergency kit' and we were able to use 5 safety pins to pull the train up. But honestly- I couldn't have cared less. My close friends and family were all around me to celebrate and nothing was going to ruin my good mood!

Since Friday night, Dan and I stayed at a hotel in Ft. Worth for two nights (just to get away and relax from it all) but we are now back at his parents house and the movers are set to come pick up all of our belongings in the next hour or so. AND we are set to become Aunt Ali and Uncle Dan any minute now :) Dan's sister was induced yesterday and we're patiently waiting for baby girl to arrive!

Tomorow morning we head to Colorado for my cousins wedding, then we head to Chicago Sunday & Indiana Thursday. Finally, back to Dallas Sunday and off to Hawaii (final destination ha!) a few days after that. Busy busy busy!

I hope everyone is doing great, I miss reading your updates and can't wait to sit down and catch up on what everyone else has been doing while I've been in this whirlwind!
