i'm not even sure i should call this a pet peeve. it should be more like 'rude people piss me off.'
it is never appropriate to ask married woman if her husband and herself are trying for children. my mind skips the whole baby topic and it sounds like "how often are you having sex? are you tracking ovulation? make sure not to drink anymore."
the above is especially true if you are a random woman at the beach.

HAHA! Such an inappropriate question! As a non-married woman I hate when couples SAY they're trying! I don't need to know that you and your man are getting it on as often as possible! Let me know when you're preggers and I'll be pumped...until then, leave me out of it!
